Gabrielle Crowe, Resident in Counseling
Gabrielle helps teens and adults navigate stress, heal from trauma, and live authentically within their values.
Gabrielle is a Resident in Counseling with an M.ED. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary University. Her passion for uplifting underserved communities has propelled her to facilitate workshops, counseling groups, and individual therapy services centered on racial and intergenerational healing, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and women’s issues.
Clients seek out Gabrielle when they are going through burn-out, dealing with a painful loss, or can’t seem to shake the lingering effects of a traumatic experience. Other folks pursue therapy with Gabrielle because they are in a major life change related to school/work, relationships, or identity and gender. Gabrielle helps clients process and cope with overwhelming feelings of sadness, stress, and anxiety that these or any other experiences can bring on, as well as how they affect relationships with family, partners, or friends.
Therapy sessions with Gabrielle are grounded in safety, trust, and unconditional acceptance of clients of all identities. By working within the client’s worldview, she empowers clients to identify and live in alignment with their values to foster a more meaningful life. She inspires healing and hope by helping clients process emotions, increase insight, implement actionable changes, and create meaning.
Gabrielle has a vested interest in working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ populations, women, 2nd & 1st generation immigrants, and Asian American populations. She welcomes each client to join as their authentic self, and she enters the therapeutic space as a 2nd generation SouthEast Asian woman, identities that drive her passion for disrupting systemic, generational, and cultural traumas.
